The DME is a two week, studio based laboratory that is making an original investigation, into the creative-intuitive impulse that travels between the brain and the body- and how this impulse can be extended beyond the body. This is an experiment connecting drawing, stitch and movement; and playfully works with the development of gesture, mark and motion.

Priya Mistry will be based in the Dance4 studio with a sewing machine, reams of fabric, plastic, card, thread, haberdashery and her body. She will be joined by writer Mary Kate Connolly, who will be blogging on the experiment as it happens and photographer Oliver Dalby will post images and short videos of the experiment in process.
