Who am I?

I am Priya Mistry and work under under the name whatsthebigmistry. I’m a Midlands based artist working cross-discipline straddling performance, live art, visual arts and dance. I am also a creative practitioner, working with arts institutions to facilitate workshops with focused groups, most notably in the field of mental health, inclusion and invisible dis/ability.

How is information collected from you?

Information is obtained in two ways. Firstly from the website when you sign up to the newsletter and secondly if you provide your name and consent through a physical newsletter sign up sheet.

Arts Council surveys which comply with GDPR law:

Names and email addresses are not captured and are therefore are not identifiable to any one person:

  • Sex
  • Age Group
  • Ethnic Group
  • Health and disability issues
  • Postcode

Will my data be shared with anyone else?

The only data that is shared is as listed above from the Arts Council surveys. This is a requirement of being funded by the Arts Council. Aside from this, information will not be shared, sold or distributed without your consent.

How is my information stored?

Newsletters: If you sign up to newsletters the information will be securely stored on mailchimp.

Physical sign up sheets: Each month the physical sign up sheets are processed, once information is stored on mailchimp they are destroyed within the month.

Arts Council Surveys: Where relevant, surveys are processed onto the Audience Finder website, the original copy will be destroyed within this month.

How long will my data be stored for?

Newsletters:

Every two years you will be contacted to make sure you are still happy receiving my emails.

Can I withdraw my consent?

Yes you have the right to do this at any time, just contact projects@whatsthebigmistry.com or unsubscribe when emailed via the footer.
