We all have physical health, some people are healthier than others. In the same way we all have mental health, some people are healthier than others. We are all different and this is very individual in both cases.

>This is a Manifesto of sorts. It’s a dynamic working document/statement that will evolve and change over time. Outlining work practices with sincere, sustainable and radical practices at the centre.
I literally work to apply, prioritise the following across Artistic Practice, Socially Engagement, Creative Producing, Mentoring and Consultation. It’s evolving, I keep learning, responding, reviewing, try to do better.PLAN-PLAY THE LONG GAME, be ambitious,ready to be dynamic in short term, change your mind. If it scares & excites it’s worth doing.
> DON’T work to status quo, censor, make artist jump hoops, if you believe in them, invite and facilitate invitation.
> DO-check your assumptions, respect intelligence & complexity of publics and creatives. DO real outreach, offer ‘self describe option’ in monitoring.Track demographics spaces/bookings and respond dynamically
> DO LESS but do more with what you do.Quality, attention to detail & not quantity/profit/box ticking.
> PRIORITISE REPRESENTATION and EQUALITY in staffing, engagement, access to activities, public facing materials online/print/visual/word/sound/other languages across ALL areas-not just ‘target projects’
> Foster sincere meaningful relationships with interesting voices wherever you find them.
> BE TRANSPARENT about money, time, schedules, work to living and best practice not embarrassing standards you wouldn’t want to share.
> VALUE fringe, marginalised and niche not just ‘majority’.
> SHARE Knowledge, actively listen, ask questions.There is no ‘wrong answer’.
> OFFER INVITATIONS and a CHOICE of modes, forms to make, engage so people can ‘get need from the space or process’.Explore solo, group, 1-2-1, utilise each other as resource.
> ENABLE AUTHORSHIP to shape content, set agenda, owning choices, spaces, interactions
> TREAT PEOPLE DIFFERENTLY -Capacity and Capability is not the same thing, adapt and respond to needs.
> SHAPE CONTENT to who those in room
> FACILITATE shared space, exchange, exploration, co-operative practices
> STIMULATE to take risk, experiment, think outside the box, oppose to working to a strict brief
>TOGETHER set boundaries, agreements, expectations and plan reviews in the process,not at the end only
>RESPECT that we are all our own experts through learnt and lived experiences
